Until someone steps forward with real proof. Not hearsay and innuendo other than “he is a tyrant”. No he should not be recalled. Heaven forbid he come in and expect them do their job. Most people would be fired for behaving the way these people have.

Absolutely right, the problem is they now have to earn their pay and they are not used to having to do that so they are belly aching and starting rumors. The mayor is an honorable man and is making them be accountable for their pay. He WILL stay!

Been watching the Mayors of Keyser for many years. Finally, one elected that is trying to get things done. Life in Keyser seems to be more prosperous. All restaurants are full, new hotel, new bridge, hospital, middle school on the horizon, modern police force, newly paved roads, expanded college, medical prescription plan and many other good things. I know the new Mayor is not responsible for all of this but he did not impede. On the other hand you have a group of citizens who protested about the north end exit because of new bridge and they were successful. Good. Democracy in action. Voices heard and well deserved. And once they were successful in being heard it seems to have gone to their heads and this democracy in action seems to have turned into mob rule.
This seems to be a small group of people who got a case of the big head. Power is a heady drug. They do not want rules placed on them personally, such as putting auto parts in city dumpsters or expecting city employees to do their jobs. Others see this as an opportunity to get themselves into office. They want to throw this Mayor and city council out that have been duly elected by the citizens. They cannot abide by citizen majority. To hell with what the majority wants. How about their facebook page, eye on keyser. Have you seen it. No democracy there. If they take over our city government this is what we can expect. Where are the dissenting voices? I for one am afraid of retribution but I can no longer stay quiet. How about you?
