Keyser, Resident on Average Income Jam with Water Rates

A Keyser, WV resident at the City Hall meeting, July 11, 2012 discussed her concerns with Mayor and Council over Dunn Engineering.

The resident said she has a problem with Dunn Engineering due to previous work with the city. Citing a four-million dollar filtration rebuild.

“I got a problem that three years ago, that the filtration plan absolutely had to be redone [...],” said the Keyser resident. “[...] Now all of a sudden it can be repaired,” continuing about the previous work.

Mayor Amtower stated the reasons behind Dunn switching from the rebuild of the filtration plant to a repair.

“I don’t know what the city is going to do,” said the resident, speaking of the average person’s income within Keyser.
